Because the new B13R is coming as the new "Heavy Duty"-coachchassis, I heard roomers that the B12M-chassis is no longer availible ?
Is this correct ?? :'( :'( :'(
When its true, this is bad news for me, because I am a big " underfloor-fan.
I drove different types of the B10M-chassis.
1. B10M MKI 4x2 with 276 HP 2x6 gears / Jonckheere Jubilee P599
2. B10M MK II 4x2 with 280 HP 2x6 gears / Jonckheere Deauville
3. B10MT MKII 6x2 with 310 HP 2x6 gears / Berkhof Excellence 2000 HL-wheelchair-coach (Picture)
4. B10M MKIII 4x2 with 340 HP 7-EGS / Berkhof Excellence 1000 LD (picture)
I liked the because of the smooth-ride ant their stability.

Yes, it's a scandal. no more mid-engined Volvo B12M are built. Only in Brazil you can still get the chassis.
Are the B12MA-chassis still going to be around, or is this articulated chassis also going to die? And if it is going to die, what is going to be it's replacement?
B12M/B12MA is no more. Only in Brazil!
What is, if any, going to replace B12MA? Or is Volvo leaving high floor articulated busses behind?
And now we are at it, what about B12BLE? As i understand, Volvo has discontinued their 12 litre engine, is that correct?
There are no replacement for the B12MA. So no more highfloor Volvo artics.
You can still get the B12BLE in 3 axle version, for a limited time, it will be replaced at the end of the end by a 3 axle B7RLE! I think the B12BLEA will also dissapear.
B12B in coach version has been replaced by the B13R.
That means also the end of the Scandinavian "godsbuss".
Now the B12M(A) will be gone that leave us only one "mid-enigined-chassis;
The English DENNIS Javelin,but thats a bit "underpowered".
It has a 300 HP CUMMINS Engine.
Thats not enough for a heavy "Godsbuss".
And it is only in a 4x2-specification.
